Abstract

Background: During the Covid-19 pandemic, as it is today, it is necessary to increase the body's immunity, one of which is by doing physical activity. Physical activity is one of the efforts to prevent Covid-19. Objective: to determine the relationship between physical activity and immune improvement in the prevention of Covid-19 in Sebelimbingan village Rt.03 Pulau Laut Utara District, Kotabaru Regency. Methods: The research design used in this study was an analytical research design with a Cross Sectional design. The population in this study was the village community of Sebelimbingan Rt.03 with a sample of 56 respondents who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria using the purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with Spearman Rank test. Results: This study shows that there is a relationship between physical activity and immune improvement in the prevention of Covid-19 in Sebelimbingan Village Rt.03, Pulau Laut Utara District, Kotabaru Regency with p value = 0.025 and correlation coefficient value (r) = 0.300. Suggestion: The results of this study can be used as initial information for further researchers. It is recommended for further research to examine other factors in preventing Covid-19, such as the influence of culture in the community
