Early Breastfeeding Initiation is a process carried out in the first minutes of a baby's birth where the baby searches for its mother's nipples. Globally according to (UNICEF, 2023) less than half of newborns (47%) are breastfed within one hour of birth, causing too many newborns to wait too long to make important contact with their mothers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Early Breastfeeding Initiation (EIBF) in Stage IV labor with Bounding Attachment in Babies at TPMB Banjarmasin City. This study used a cross-sectional method and the research sample was all mothers giving birth who did IMD at TPMB Banjarmasin City taken using the accidental sampling technique. The results showed that 18 respondents (48.6%) had poor bounding attachment and 19 respondents had good bounding attachment (51.4%). 13 respondents (35.1%) Early Breastfeeding Initiation was unsuccessful and 24 respondents (64.9%) Early Breastfeeding Initiation was successful. The variable of Early Breastfeeding Initiation (EIBF) in the Fourth Stage of Labor with Bounding Attachment in Infants at TPMB Banjarmasin City has a significant relationship with a significance value of 0.001 or less than the basic value of decision making, which is 0.05. From the output, a positive correlation coefficient value of 0.983 was also obtained so that the relationship between the two variables is in the same direction. Thus, if the implementation of EIBF is successful, the Bounding Attachment in Infants will be even better
